OK, looking for the positives:

1. No more Open Cup games to clutter up the schedule midweek.

2. We've finally played a USL Division 1 team.

3. We can concentrate on our run to the playoffs.

4. Every other MLS team is stuck playing in the Open Cup for at least another round. They'll be, like, more tired than us.

5. Jay Nolly now feels DJ's pain.

and we got the ball in the back of the net a few times. maybe a little more offensive confidence.

The FCD game is final--they win 3-1.

We are officially the bottom feeders in MLS, and apparently we would have some trouble in USL Division 1 too.

Remember when we were 3-3-2, with a two game winning streak? Those were the days. So long ago.

lol, sorry but i see nothing good about any of those points.

no more OC games because......we suck and cant hold off a f'in usl team in the last minute of the game, pathetic

we've finally played a usl team.....and pathetically lost

concentrate on our run to the playoffs? explain to me how we are going to get into the playoffs? its going to take an act of god at this point

every other mls team stuck playing in the OC, not for another 3 weeks.

Nolly now feels DJ's pain.....great, just what we need. another heavily disappointed keeper who feels like they cant get the result no matter what they do.

geez.....am i looking forward to the end of the season already?!?! this just keeps getting worse and worse.

Yeah, this is pretty embarassing. I remember when the goalless streak was going to be the lowlight of the season. I am afraid to think how bad it can get now. At this rate Chivas will pass us up. Now THAT would just top it all off. I keep thinking that something will be the wake-up call and we will be consistent. I guess that won't happen either <sigh>

I can't believe you saw right through my upbeatness, directly to the sarcasm underneath.

I'll have to try harder next time.

OBTW, the playoffs are the only achievable goal (words use under advisement) left to us. We're out of the Open Cup. We're way out of the running for a Supporters Shield. But we still could make the playoffs.

OK, so maybe not, but at least it's mathematically possible.

Looking at the bright side.

Anyway, I've had enough for one night. Or one season. Never thought we would sink this low, but the last two games have done it.

No loss of loyalty, but running low on enthusiam.

:sadwalk:
