RSL vs Thunder Game Thread [R] Live, not tape delayed If you're waiting for the 1280 tape delay and don't want to know the score/result, go away--and don't go to real.saltlake.mlsnet.com.
Otherwise, standby for as much information as we can piece together. __________________

Update--11th minute:
OK, looks like we're already up 1-0 inside the 11th minute. PK by Jason Kreis in the 9th minute. Good start. Nice to score first for a change. Update--18th minute: Going south fast. We're now down 2-1. Minnesota goals in the 15th and 17th minutes. So much for starting well. Update--39th minute: We tie it up for a 2-2 score. Jamie Watson, unassisted. Update--Halftime: Score remains 2-2 at the half. Update--50th minute: RSL 3-2. Kreis, assist from Trembley. Update--66th minute: We can't hold the lead. 3-3. Update--70th minute: And Kreis answers immediately, assist from Brown. Anyone playing defense tonight? Update--80th minute: RSL still 4-3. Ten minutes to go. Let's see what we're made of tonight. Update--85th minute: 4-3, hanging in there. Update--88th minute: 4-4. Figures. Good teams close out games. We're not there. Update--Full Time: Headed to overtime. Coulda-woulda-shoulda. You don't give up game-tying goals in the 88th minute. But we just did. Update--94th minute: Here we go. Gut check. Update--98th minute: We're down 4-5. The other three MLS teams have taken or are taking care of business. If we lose this, don't go on the boards tomorrow. Update--106th minute: Just started the 2nd overtime. Fourteen minutes left to make this right. Update--109th minute: Now 4-6. The scoreboard's going the wrong way. That should do it, although we'll have to suffer through another ten minutes. Look on the bright side--now we won't have to woryy about playing these annoying midweek Open Cup games, and EVERY OTHER TEAM IN MLS is through to the next round. Lucky us! __________________ Easy to be hard; hard to be smart. --Old Gunny Last edited by Rover : 07-13-2005 at 08:27 PM.

Kreis with a penalty kick and Watson unassisted. Isn't that the story of our last few matches? Anyhow, keep up the good work boys.
Looks like Johnny Menyongar is their MOTM so far. One assist & one goal. Last edited by Scilaci : 07-13-2005 at 06:51 PM.
