Out of curiosity, would you rather I removed the rep restriction that says you must give it to two other people before you can give it to the same person again? I have been thinking about doing away with it because quite frankly, sometimes people have more than one great post in a row. Discuss.

Can you change the restriction? I think it's a good idea so I don't get carried away and rep the same person all day, but is it possible to make it allow 2 or 3 reps in a row before the restriction kicks in?

Also, sorry to nag, but I can't see who gave rep either. (I'm sure to get tons of rep when that article gets up, and I want to know who gives neg rep!)

I think that's exactly why you can't see rep. It would just cause arguments if someone gave you negative rep, this way it's anonymous, and it's probably better that way. Maybe when you leave the comment you could sign it. Like, "Great find on that article - Czar Jake" This way you know who sent rep when it's good, but if they want to leave neg and not argue they just don't sign it.

And I'll look at the rep restriction and see if that's possible.

I agree. Recently someone posted several very excelent posts and I couldn't give rep for each of them. I had to (horrors) give rep to some others. Not that they weren't worthy, but it was a pain and the system was forcing me. I don't like to be forced, or prohibited. 😠

Yea! It'll be nice to just give people rep without consciously thinking, "When did I last give rep? Who was it for? ..." BigSoccer has the same software for their forum and you can see who the rep is from, but it's all the same to me if people will sign it. Or not sign it. Whatever! 🙂

Heh, not particularly. If I want someone to bash on my religion, I'll turn to my friends. 🙂 Speaking of BS though, we need to get some of the Utah people over there to head over here, we're way more active on these forums.
