Worth a try. You can send out that modified flier I created (and I believe you were copied on that email I sent to Glenn with it attached) as an attachment to the email, with some plain text indicating pretty much the same thing for those that can't get or open the attachment for some reason. We should also include the fact that this is a desparate call to sell these tickets, so if people are expecting someone else to do it, they're just fooling themselves. Perhaps you should include a challenge in the email to sell between 4 and 6 of these tickets - which would appear to be a more reasonable feat for the average person. Lastly, I think it would be very important to delineate the details of how seating can/will work, and how the pick-up of the tickets can be arranged - those details are even fuzzy for me, and may dissuade others from selling tickets.

I'll annoy some people at work for you guys. Who do I tell them to contact about the tickets?

Is it possible to just pay cash for the tickets at the tailgate on Saturday? I definitely will need some tickets, just don't know the precise number at this time. I have several friends who I am trying to convert to soccer fans that want to go with me, but some of them are uncertain whether they will be done with work in time to attend and likely will not know for sure until that day.

Okay, I think I annoyed some work people enough to get them to come, so hopefully you'll get a few more sales...

I agree that not having the tickets "in hand" has been a major problem. I may get in trouble for this....but....can we approach the "walk up" crowd for the remaining tickets?....You know..." hey, come get tickets for 1/2 price and eat a hot dog" I know that my hubby and I have handed out something like 300 fliers....maybe I need to hit the mall with rest of them!

Speaking of handing out fliers.....is anyone close to college campuses? If someone could hand them out to college kids/on their cars...that may help. They love free food.......

Being the best supporters group doesn't necessarily make us the best sales people in the league.

But I've been contacting my friends with the offer.
