Hey Adam, welcome here to RSL.org.
Did you ever see Dunseth or O'Brien play for Bodens BK in Sweden or is that after you moved here?

We moved to the US when I was a little kid - a little over 20 years ago. However, I get back to Sweden at least every other year for a week or two or three... I never watched Bodens because they played down a division (Superettan - like the USL Div 1 / A League), as I occassionally catch a Allsvenskan game instead (the top league).

My brother lives in Saltsjöbaden (loosely tranlated to "Salt Lake/Sea Beach") about 30 min. outside of Stockholm - old summer retreat for a lot of the aristocracy. I get to games from time to time but usually it is a Stockholm club such as Djurgården (translated to "Animal Farm" hehe) or AIK... but my team for years has been IFK Göteberg - they are my favorite.

My father and his 2 best friends (brothers) played for our local team in their early 20's - which was as in the 2nd division back then (still is). My great uncle played in the Allsvenkan and even made some national team appearances back in the 50's. My hometown, Jönköping is better at hockey - in fact, my childhood buddy played for them - they won the Eliteserien in 1995 and 2004 (but not with my buddy on the team).

Intro for Viva REAL!

I actually signed up for the Loyalists and paid my dues a few weeks ago, but am just getting around to doing my introduction and seeing what is in this forum (which by the way, is great! There's alot of insider info here!).

I have been a soccer fan my entire life. I have played soccer since I was old enough to walk, and growing up, it was pretty much my life. With all of the out of state tourneys that my brother and I had, I don't think my family ever took a vacation that wasn't soccer-related! I had the opportunity to live in Mexico for a couple of years, so my love for soccer grew even more by seeing the passion that the people and the entire country have for the sport (Don't worry, I'm not a CDC fan!). I still, however, watch Mexican soccer every weekend on Telemundo, TV Azteca, and Galavision, but I'm looking forward to seeing in person a quality pro team here in Utah.

I've lived my entire life in Utah (with the exception of my time spent in Mexico) and I hope that we can develop a passion here in Utah for the greatest sport that exists!

Welcome to the madness. You going to be joining everyone in the Loyalist section, then, I presume?

Oh, and watch out for Arelius while you're here. He's kind of a nutcase.

Although I don't have seen tickets due to my work/school schedule, the games that I do go to will be in E32 with the Loyalists!

Great to have you with the Loyalists. Always good to get new fans along for the ride. And it's going to be a very fun ride.
