Imitate? We don't need to imitate. We already have great drummers of our own. 😉

Afternoon everybody...

Hello all -

My name is Mel Hodges, I live in Bradenton, and I am a newly converted Real Loyalist... everyone thank Ethan for my conversion. 🙂

Happily married father of two beautiful girls, and all 3 ladies 'tolerate' my soccer obsession.

Originally from Kalispell, MT (I miss the mountains! 🙁 ) - just started watching MLS, been a Nats fan for awhile.... I jumped on the Pony Tail Posse bandwagon in 1999, and scooted over to the men's side of the bus after the '99 Womens World Cup.... thanks be to Mia

I like to play with websites in my spare time - I've got a couple of soccer websites that I'm currently tinkering with: BradentonSoccer.com - has photos of MLS (including Real) & National Team training and matches in the Bradenton area, as well as the Guatamala WCQ in Birmingham. I also have MySoccerLinks.com which is a soccer link directory - please add your favorite links! I also just started working with Joe Gannon of World Cup Express fame, and I'm hosting and building his new website at WCXUSA.com . I have other soccer websites, but I think I'll quit boring you now, and get back to work! 😉

Mel

Hi Everyone,

My name is Jeff and I am a relatively new fan of soccer. I grew up in Bountiful and now reside in Farmington with my wife and 2 children, boy and girl. We're also expecting another little girl this fall! I work full time in Salt Lake and am working on a degree in Accounting at the UofU.

Unfortunately I didn't grow up playing soccer like most of you. I was bitten by the bug after being invited to play in a a few pick-up games with some family and friends a couple of years ago. Needless to say I gained an immediate respect and appreciation for the sport, and I had a blast, too.

The first Real game was an incredible experience. It was my first professional soccer game. I look forward to many more for years to come. I'm not yet a member of the Loyalists, but definately thinking about joining.

What an exciting time!

That first game was indeed an incredible experience!! I couldn't get enough after that which is why I joined the Loyalists that next day! You should join, lots of benefits for doing so.

Yes, but if you are going to join, don't join because of the benefits. Join because you want to be with like-minded individuals willing to stand, chant, scream, and have a great time at games. While the benefits are nice, they aren't the reason to join the Loyalists. Passion for soccer in general and RSL in particular are the reasons to join.

Standing and cheering in the Loyalist section, hanging out at the tailgate near the car-b-que, and away games at Iggy's are all the reasons you need.

Oh and the T-shirts are nice as well.
