Evenin' all!

I thought it about time that I introduce myself officially ... I am Wayne Scholes and I am an Englishman living in Utah and so when I heard that the wonderful game of footie was arriving I knew it was going to be a good year!

Just love what is happening with the game here and the fans, it feels like home! I really think you are all doing the team proud with everything.

Me? Marketing Director by day and sleepy bloke by night! I am soooo not a morning person, don't be shocked if I have a tough time smiling or being overly pleasant in the mornings if we meet, nights ... yep, no worries, I'm a happy bunny at night, love late nights, lucky really since I have two children and a dog who all share the same love of nights! My wife and children are the centre of my universe, I still am amazed that I have them in my life.

Glad to have found the forums ...

Glad to have you here, Wayne. And thanks again for everything you do.

I should have clarified. The benefits I looked at was belonging to a group that is as fanatical as you are about this team with whom you can participate with in supporting them - comraderie (did I spell that right?). As mrstucki says, the T-Shirts are pretty cool, too! :D

I wanted to make sure that I could commit to it before I joined. I do have a question though. Do you have to go to all of the games as a loyalist? I'm gonig to try and make as many games as possible, I'm just not sure how many.

Make as many as you can. A word of warning, though--it's addictive, so once you go you may end up at all the rest.

OBTW, a number of us aren't in Salt Lake or even Utah. Prime is in Florida, Hermey and I are in SoCal, Mango is in Oklahoma, and many others are in Idaho, Montana, Colorado--you name it.

I like to think that being a Loyalist is based on a state of mind more than a state of residence . . .

That would be ridiculous. We're not all rich with infinite free time on our hands and no other responsibilities. Those who meet the preceding requirements are also welcome in the Loyalists despite making us "come once in a while" people look bad. 😉

I'll add that there 3 Florida Loyalists, BTW.
And I created a future one just a couple of weeks ago (although my wife helped a little).

Well, I thought it was finally time for my intro.

I'm sure some of you have seen me around for years (inaugural season Blitzz anyone?)

My name is Hiba. I’m a student at the U. Obsessed with soccer, even though I don’t play anymore.

I haven’t been to any of the tailgate parties yet, but I’m planning on coming to the next one. It’s been great cheering with you all so far (you might have seen me last week with the signs for the two Kreis goals, in the front row)

Anyway, see everyone around.

There are at least 4 Loyalists in Oklahoma... my parents and little Bro are all members.
