I agree, I hope that we can all get behind one another and team.
I also hope ppl don't leave the forum or the clubs because of these "events".

There has already been a mass exodus from the forum.

But apparently the gossip mill is more concerned with another bad guy – me. Why? Because I asked for my seats. Rumor has it that I was rude when doing do. No, I was not rude. I was trying to be very polite.

There has obviously been a misunderstanding from the beginning over the seating issue. When I asked the FO if they had sold me GA tickets without telling me or if they were reserved, this is the response I received:

“You have reserved seats. If one of the Loyalist’s tries to push you out, you put up a big fight! We’re expecting great things from the loyalist fan section. From those I’ve met, I don’t foresee any one trying to push you from your seats you rightfully own. Should be fun.”

I guess I need to tell the FO they were wrong about the Loyalists.

You know, I’m not a very social person but I do like to be involved in some way. I’ve truly enjoyed making salads and desserts for the tailgate, writing the FAQ, hanging up flyers, selling tickets, rolling streamers, recruiting new Loyalists, posting RSL news at work etc. But, it’s not fun anymore. I guess I’ve had enough. Someone else can take my seat. There are plenty of empty seats in the stadium and I’ll find one of those for the rest of the season.

I’m not a rude person. I never intended to cause problems and I’m truly sorry I hurt Jake’s feelings. Sorry again. Bye guys.

Even before we ever had a team, it was decided, by the Loyalists, and agreed to by the FO, that the Loyalists section (E31 and E32) would be a General Admission and Standing section. The tickets still have seat assignments on them, but we simply don't pay much attention to them. We all just cram in as we can. And we stand and beat our drums and sing and chant for the whole time.

If the Ticket people told you something else, then they don't understand. If your tickets are for another section (say E33) then it actually isn't a GA section and you SHOULD be allowed the seats you paid for. But that section (up front, anyway) has become the home of the RCB. I don't know if there is any agreement with the FO about their section. But I know that the FO approved our plan to make our section (E31 and E32) GA and Standing. If the Ticket Sellers are not aware of it, then maybe we need to reaffirm it with the FO.

Per conversations with Scot Woodbury (Director of Operations) the Section occupied by the RCB is GA.

Then again I really like a lot of the members. From RCB you get the pure bitterness toward everyone else, you get alleged "hardcores" who are very quick to call security and start making up bull**** about the altercation that happened, you get people absolutely refusing to join a chant only because it started in the Loyalist area. Then again I really like a lot of them too.

So forget it. It's dumb. I really don't want to be a part of either anymore.

I'm with you Jake. I'm done with all supporters groups. I'm not even going to start my own. I probably wont even get season tickets for next year. If the FO wants a reason for their declining attendance next season, they need to be looking at sections 32 and 38. Ciao!

Where did this come from? DIdn't you only sit with the supporter's groups once or twice anyway?

If the FO wants a reason for their declining attendance next season, they should look at you, becuase you make your own decisions. Lay the blame on someone else....hahahahaha...

I give you a couple of examples:

I refuse to go to church again because my neighbor keeps putting his leaves in my yard.

I refuse to go to school because the guy i sit next to snaps his gum in class.

I refuse to go to work because my co-worker is not nice all the time.

Do you lay the blame on the other person or yourself in these decisions? You make it sound like we took your agency away Roger.

If you want to pout at home, that's your choice, but don't blame me, my "little group" or the loyalists with you not wanting or buying tickets next year.

You're right it's my choice, but I don't need to associate with people that don't espouse the same ideals as mine. This is a form of baal worship. It's time to rededicate myself to the things that really matter, God, Family, work.

Roger,
Well, then I guess we'll not be seeing you again. That's too bad really because me and the other Satanists thought we had you there. Dang.

If you're going to rededicate yourself, I guess we won't be seeing you on this satanic board as well. Dang. (ska, it's not even eight and look what you've done)

FWIW, my priorities:
1. God
2. Family
3. Work
4. Soccer, but feel free to blame E32 and E38 for making you worship Baal.

I'm not planning to get season tickets this coming year either....

But I'm not going to blame the supporter's groups or Old Ska. I'm blaming the latest round of layoffs and relocations at American Express. 🙂
