I would blame Old Ska for that.

My priorities:

1. Dancing bananas
2. Rubber ducks
3. Cool night lights
4. My herb garden
5. Rubber chickens
6. Model trains
7. RSL

Boy, I am way not as dedicated as you all.

p.s. Roger, sounds like you've spent an unhealthy amount of time on soccer in the past if you feel like your priorities are out of whack. I certainly can't relate. At all. I'm totally balanced in all areas of my life. <cough> Give it the offseason to work out your priorities, and when next summer comes, maybe you can fit soccer into your life again in a more healthy way. You know you can't stay away for good! 🙂

Oops, is this considered off-topic?

There are so many things I would like to say about this comment but will refrain considering the source.

Roger, a lot of people wonder why Mormons (especially Utah ones) are perceived to be condensending...this is a prime example why. Not only that, but the judgements you have passed on so many people without knowing any of us is laughable.

Have a good winter in that bubble you've created.

Chris, aka Fuegote

This is absolutely the final word on it. Look at how much time and energy I've put into RSL this year. Even if I only did sit with the supporters only twice (but I think it was more). How much time, effort, and money did I put into this team. What if I'd put that same time, effort, and money into something that really matter. The fighting between the two groups has become childish and if I said I didn't get caught up in it emotionally, that would be a lie. When things get personal, like they did, I think it's time to re-evaluate the things that really matter. En fin, soccer is just a game, it has no relevance on the eternal perspective. Being a supporter has no relevance on my eternal salvation. When I go busting out profanities directed at other people on this board, then I really need to sit back and ponder whether I'm really acting in a Christlike manner.

If anything I've said has offended you, then I apologize, that's not the intent. And yes, I am not going to come back to the board. I'm trying to figure out how to turn off the email notifications so that I can quit reading your responses.

Thanks to everyone that has been supportive, you know who you are. I don't mean to group everyone together.

Roger

I think people need to grow up... Let things go and move on with their lives.

People need to really stop pushing people's buttons. If they can't do that then they need to stop posting or just leave.

You do not have the final say on it. The whole reason this came up was because you thought it important to let everyone know that you didn't want to go to a soccer game anymore because of sections E32 and E38. Then you compared your association with them as Baal worship (satanic worship).

My favorite part was bringing up the fact that the two groups don't get along....Guess what Roger, unless you were somewhere else the last two months (and I know you weren't) we've been getting along quite nicely.

My main gripe was...that you made the announcement and blamed it on perceptions that were taken care of a month or two ago instead of just quietly leaving. Good luck to you and yours and we'll see you in a month when you decide you want to come back again.

This may be the truest post on this forum to date.

Sincerely,

Oh, that is good! After the hateful things you have said in public and far worse in private you bring up God and ideals.

Remember this thread?:

This is where you said:

Hey Roger, this is a felony. Read your student loan paperwork.

I am guessing that the real reason you aren't getting season tickets is that you are just too poor to. There is zero shame in that. I would rather see you not buy tickets instead of misusing government handouts to buy them. But don't you dare for one second come here and claim that it is the fault of the Loyalists or the RCB that you are not getting tickets. And with all the stuff you have pulled here and elsewhere don't think for a second that anyone buys your moral high ground nonsense either, especially in light of your willingness to misuse government welfare money.
