On Dempsey's goal, did anyone else think that was a foul that should have disallowed the goal? The rest, well....

Let's see, Dunseth heads the ball towards the goal and Williams couldn't head it out...D.J. decides not to kick the ball down field in hopes of maybe scoring so instead he throws the ball to the Revs...Sounds like our guys were a little confused last night as to whose side they were on. This should not have been a loss. Second half RSL looked they had absolutely no energy. Williams IMO had a horrible second half and should of been pulled for not being a team player. He would not pass the ball to any of his teammates.. Guess he was afraid the wife may yell at him again...but then again, I didn't much of the ball going to the forwards all night. Kriess had a good game especially with a bruised foot, Trembly was a red card waiting to happen.. He should of been pulled earlier and Watson should of been put in earlier. So let's see we are down Mathis, Cutler (I believe) and Trembly for Saturday night game. Excuse me if I had made in error on the last statement. Come RSL, were is the team that beat FC Dallas.

Hell yes, he nailed Pierce in the head with his elbow. It was brutal. Didn't you see the look on Pierce's face? He was like, "No way. I totally got taken out, and they're going to give him that crap?"

Speaking of Dempsey, he's quite the pansy :gay: Did you see how little they had to touch him to get him to fall? That must take quite a bit of practice, learning to fall everytime someone touches you. He didn't fall like that during the Gold Cup. Maybe those are just his MLS falls where the refs actually buy it. At least they started taking it to him later on in the game. There were a few tackles where he was like, "Where's the foul?! He got all thigh/knee/ankle!" Nice job, ref. Call the non-foul...

The sad part is most of the time the ref went for it...
He would fall when touched going both ways and the call would go his way so much I started calling him the golden child...
cos you can't get that many gifts as a mere mortal...

That's a good question. We still don't have Gregorio, Scarlett, or Cabrera. Someone has to step up. Mathis won't be striking from 38 yards out. Cila looks bland and Watson hasn't had time. Maybe Tiger and Dante can put up a good game this weekend. Who knows?

I seriously doubt it will be Dipsy. If it were going to be Dipsy, do you think both Cila and Watson would have gotten starts ahead of him?

Sure, but it probably isn't a dream that will come true.
