Don't forget that Chivas has a built in fan base and will cause sell outs in every stadium they play, and will come in and automatically be a major force in the league, oh wait, reality just set in.

Seriously, if Waldo was calling Romo a "dummy" and "doubly stupid" on national TV, you would think it would warrant more than a fine roughly equivalent to a college textbook.

Can you say Ron Artest? No. he didn't go into the stands... but the league obviously wanted to make an example of him!

When I saw the ball kicked at Clint, my immediate thought was that the guy was saying..."come on, get up... you're not hurt!" And I expected the response that it did envoke!

3 games... the rest of the Team will have to pick it up a notch to cover his loss.

Honestly how could the instigator/aggressor of the whole fiasco just get a slap on the wrist? Sure the way Mathis reacted was over-the-top, but if Romo doesn't kick the ball at Mathis none of this happens. Not to mention Arias with the kick, he's looking to do some damage to someone. That has got to merit a bigger penalty than kicking a ball into the stands and not leaving the field right away!

Is there ANYTHING we can do other than whine? Petition, protest, anything? This is the biggest load of Teenage Mutant Ninja Smiley :donatello crap I have ever heard. Arias KICKS a player and gets only one more game? Romo dives and gets nothing? Mathis is fined $5000 total? Talk about a miscarriage of justice! This kind of turns me off MLS. The ref'ing sucks. The refs hate RSL. And now this!

This is the most absurd ruling I've ever heard. I am truly disappointed in the actions of the committee. They need to take a look at themselves in the mirror. How they couldn't take harsher action against the Chivas players is beyond me. They took more action with the Amado Guevara "I got hit in the eye with a towel" routine a season or two ago then they have with the flopping Chivas player rolling around like Ali hit him.
