O'Brien, Selolwane released

There is no official word on the RSL site yet, but according to the SL Trib the conjecture of some has been realized. Dipsy & Leighton have been released by the team to make room for the new signings. I guess it makes sense. I am sad to see Dipsy go, but I hope the new players improve the team.

Thats odd because I thought Gregorio was signed to a Reserve spot.
We had 1 open Senior Spot open. Lets say Cabrera gets that.
If both Selolwane and O'Brien are released, that will leave 2 First team spots open. Scarlett would take one but we wouldn't need it for Gregorio...

Am I wrong about Gregorio or is there some other signing we don't know about???

Luke was moved to the devlopmental roster. I get the feeling that Gregorio will be on the field Saturday.

Me too. Coach E certainly gave that impression in the interview. I wonder where he will be playing. I'm guessing d-mid.

Or maybe Williams will move to Clint's spot and Gregorio will start on the right.

Dipsi would have been a good one to hang onto. I think he could have helped us out a lot. Oh well this is what sports are all about.

It is probably just me, but the discussion about RSL player moves is starting to remind me of talk about the back up quarterback down in the bubble.

Getting rid of players with talent to make room for some with even more talent...I hope that trend continues.
