We need to start a massive Draft discussion.
According Ellinger, we now have only 2 picks in the draft.
Huh? How did that happen?

I found this on 3rdDegree (Dallas fan site).

They also say we only have 2 picks.
I can agree with losing our 2nd pick, because of getting Selolwane and Whitfield (brilliant move...) but how did we lose our 4th pick?
According to what I have read, we lost a 2007 pick for Dunny, not a 2006 one.

I have confirmed that RSL has only 2 picks in the January 2006 SuperDraft.
🙁

RSL will pick in the 1st round (#2 overall) and 3rd round (#26 overall)
-2nd round pick to Metros for Pople
-4th round pick to Dallas for Kreis

Another great pick might be Nate Sturgis out of Clemson. Arguably the best defender in the College ranks. I saw him play in the PDL and he was great.

Oh come on... you want to fire a coach that picked up a couple guys that judging from their contributions must have been picked because he liked their names.

From what I have heard... Wynne is the best player in the draft. I hope Chivas passes on him.

So what's our draft looking like? Are we still in line to get Wynne? What position do we need help at the most?

I figure at #2 we just need to get the best player available, but at #22(?) we can afford to draft by position.

Anyone that's smarter than me know anything? Any rumors?

Although I cannot say I am smarter than you, I would say that by following Buzz at the 3rd Degree website will bring your draft IQ up a bit.

Buzz seems to think that David Arvizu is going to Gen Adidas and that Chivas might take him. If so, its possible that RSL could get Wynne with the #2.

Wynne has got to be the best overall player with players like Jacob Peterson being one of the best forwards for the #22 pick (Edward of DesNews thinks RSL is after forwards in the draft).
