If you Vaunted Colorado Supporters are so superior, why go to all the trouble of making up Fake Salt Lake T-shirts?
Just curious, since you are apparently the fountain of all knowledge today.

Although i must say I have enjoyed the laugh at your expense when you still clearly are stating opinion as fact. You can do better than wankers i am sure... Bloody Tosser! 😲 Last edited by Deuce : 10-05-2005 at 10:33 AM.

What I see is a lonely sod who feels bad that he didn't throw in his lot with a real team and real supporters groups. I almost feel sorry for him. __________________

I care who they are rooting for and so does the USMNT! Yes it does matter who the supporters in the stands are cheering for, that is what makes it a home field advantage. I would much rather have 41K supporters clearly cheering for USA than your 48K making Mexico feel they are at home. I will bet that when the USMNT left Denver they felt like they were leaving Mexico. The fact is when the USMNT team left Salt Lake many of them publicly stated they felt like they had a home field advantage here. So I wonder who will get another USMNT match first...

Hey, don't make me break out smeghead... And there were a number of facts in that posts (Number of times we haven't finished last for example), if you choose to ignore them, well, there's nothing I can do about that.

Ah, but the original post that commented on it was talking about how the USA game helped your attendance numbers. As far as that goes, it doesn't matter who they rooted for, as long as they paid. If we're talking about the better place for the US to play a game, it's a trade off between a better home crowd (At least for Mexico, for somebody like Jamaica I think there would be little difference) in SLC vs. more altitude and less oxygen in Denver. I'd probably favor SLC as a place to play at that point. Ideally I'd love to see a Rapids - FSL doubleheader in either location with a US game.

Your comment... you know... the one I was responding to... said that you had a 48k attendance for a USA v Mexico game then you stated it does not matter who the fans were rooting for... that is what i was responding to... but since you brought up attendance I think you will see we are beating you in attendance even without the WCQ numbers and you can keep your 4th of July. Hmmmm! Intertesting don't you think. I think you will also find a bearly noticable difference in altitude between Salt Lake and Denver. I don't know the exact difference but I think it is under a hundred feet. So you can keep talking about the altitude as a difference if it makes you feel better. It does not really matter what city you would favor... I think it matters what city the USMNT would favor and I think we know that one don't we... 😉
