Wow! Congratulations on that! What a great fact to hang your hat on. You're really showing us, aren't you?

Salt Lake City altitude = 4330 ft
Denver altitude = 5280 ft

Fans cheering for US in SLC = 40,000
Fans cheering for US in Denver = 3000

And you really think that 900 ft is really going to make all that much difference compared to 37,000 more fans? Nice try. There really is no comparison between the two.

I'd probably favor SLC as a place to play at that point.
And I'm glad that you agree with me.

Isn't that a Babylon 5 quote? Sounds like something Kosh would say. I've heard it somewhere before...

I think you will also find a bearly noticable difference in altitude between Salt Lake and Denver. I don't know the exact difference but I think it is under a hundred feet. So you can keep talking about the altitude as a difference if it makes you feel better.

Less than 100 feet? Try almost 1000 (950 ft.). That's one of those facts things I was talking about 😉

I honestly don't know what the effect is, but I'm assuming there's a reason the Nats chose to train in Colorado Springs and not Denver, and there's only 800 feet difference between the two. Maybe it is minimal, I'm not up on sports medicine.

Probably smelled better. 😉

Isn't Colorado Springs at over 7,000? We could send them to Park City, that is over 7,000. I'm sure Colorado Springs was chosen for facilities rather than elevation. If elevation was the key factor, we could send them to Laramie.

I think it was a Farscape Quote!
and as for the 900 feet! I think that is why I said "I don't know the exact difference but I think it is under a hundred feet."
But you see that is one of those things that you seem to keep overlooking is that when someone is not sure if something is a fact or opinion they say so... Do try to grasp that concept in future.

Colo Springs over Denver... it was prolly the smell as aero stated...
🙂

I thought so to, but the city info site I found through Google listed it at 6100.
