Jules I was somebody who liked other names better than Real Salt Lake, but you are right, as soon as they announced it, it was my team and I backed it all the way. I will do the same with the stadium, but in the meantime I enjoy debating and getting worked up over where it will be. That's part of being a sports fan to me. I don't feel like I'm wasting emotional energy, I feel like I'm enjoying using emotional energy. But you are right, wherever it is, we'll back it 100%

What Jake said! :D

I have a tediously boring job and practically no social life so getting emotionally charged about a particular subject adds a little tiny bit of spice to an otherwise meaningless existence... 🙄
But seriously it is all part of being a fan... if you think we are getting too worked up about things that are out of our control you are absolutely right! but then you should visit some of the premiership forums... oh my goodness by there standards we are positively upbeat!

It is all part and parcel... I love this game!!!

Who ever goes, report back. Is this put on by Murray or RSL?

I don't have a problem with people feeling strongly about this kind of thing--that's what makes this so much fun. I guess I'm just sick of hearing the same things over and over and over again.

Using the same parallel to the team name, how many times can we hear the question, "What makes SLC so royal?" or hear people say, "What a stupid name..." After a certain point, it's time to sit back and relax. That's what I'm doing. Y'all debate all you like. Just beware the danger of becoming too repetitive.

Right, the days not complete until you've made at least 5 new enemies. 😲
Is that it? Hah, now we've got you figured out. Don't try to deny it. 😉

Is anyone living out near West Jordan going to the Murray meeting tonight and/or the Loyalist Meeting tomorrow night?

I am looking for a lift home on both occasions because my car is dead...
PM me if possible
thanks

Deuce, if you can't find a ride, TRAX will put you a block away from the RSL offices. I've even been taking the bus lately because I'm sick of driving and it's really not that bad...
