2006 uniforms, vote now (SteveP look at this)

So we were talking in the other thread about uniforms about changing up the away kit so it's not just white on white on white. We did some mock-ups, and now I ask you, which do you like the most. I give you the mock-ups we made, plus what I suppose is the actual look of the 2006 away uniform. By the way, forgive my photoshop skills. Choice e looks like crap I know, but you get the idea.

Your choices:

a)

b)

c)

#1 for me is C, with A a close second.

I think I would like Red/Claret more in the away jersey if the shorts were also claret.

Nice job BTW!

I like #c as well. Anything will work in my book, except the white on white. It always reminds me of pajamas for some reason--<:O(

I like c and d, but I would like to see claret shorts rather than all blue. I would love to see the team use shorts that were white, claret, and cobalt just to make sure we could always be different than the other team. A third jersey is a must as well, at least in my humble opinion.

I voted (b) with (a) a close second. All that really matters is:

But trading an all white away kit for an all red/claret away kit would defeat the purpose. All Red/Claret would actually look more like pajamas than the all white.

Just my opinion.

Just for the record I voted A

BTW the all white kits actually look good in person... they look like cr@p on TV but in Denver, watching the guys play, the all white looked much better.

I like option 'A' the best. However, I think the stripes on the away shorts and socks should be white, it would look better.

Yeah, I've said it elsewhere, but I actually like the all white. Still, I can see the point that everyone's got all white, so let's do something different. I'd rather go in a yellow direction, rather than red or blue, though (without looking too much like the Crew). I'm curious what a yellow sleeves, yellow shorts, white shirt kit would like like. B is too Red, White, & Blue for my liking, and C is too... training-esque. I also wonder about red sleeves, red shorts and yellow shirt (I think taking Spain's national colors would be preferrable to taking the US's a la B).

Incidentally, this is one of my favorite things about this sport. When was the last time you heard serious debate about pointy-ball unis? (And I guess my Ute-voice doesn't count, but I actually liked the Crowton-era cougar unis and think going back to the 'old' ones is the biggest gimmick ever.)
