Wait...is Player of the Year the player who made the biggest impact on the team, or for the player who just tried hard and gave a good consistent effort, goll darn it?

Andy Williams is the Player of the Year.

P.S. Am I the only one who thinks that Jason Kreis doesn't have the best work ethic on the team? He was terrible as far as vision and effort when he was playing as a midfielder, and was not exactly Mr. Hustle as a forward, eitherl. We're not talking Clint Mathis here, but still....the guy has a great shot, smart with the ball when he has it, and seems to be a leader, but the model of giving 100%? I don't think so. Still, I'd have to put him at #2 behind Williams.

Gosh! I don't know maybe my vote for player of the year should be whoever I feel it should be...

I really don't care who it is cos only one player had a huge impact on the team... but strangely enough that was a negative impact...
So if you hold true to your notion that it should be the player that had the biggest impact then you voted for the wrong player...
Maybe you should change your vote to Clint Mathis, goll darn it!.

I still say Chris Brown, regardless of who actually wins it... Chris Brown was Player of the Year for RSL... and in my world he wins it!

Chris Brown for MotY. And if not him, Jason Kreis!

Section 37 should win offensive player of the year.

We were always very offensive.

But all around player of the year is definitely Andy Williams.

There's a club in England that actually assigns a jersey number (#12, incidentally) to one of the supporters clubs of the team. So, perhaps in that case, a non-player COULD win the "player" of the year. 😁

It's Plymouth Argyle:

12 Green Army is not a real player, but was registered by the club as a tribute to the supporters. The idea behind assigning the number 12 was that the great support from fans gives Argyle a similar advantage to having an extra (twelfth) player.

That is a very cool idea and the number 12 is obviously appropriate.
