Look I have no problem having patience with Tarley because he has great potential, but a starter he is not right now (Yoda impression). Doesn't that position require earning it? Tarley has shown absolutely nothing with his big opportunities. I do hope he has a much better year, but to write him in as a lock is wishful thinking to say the least. | |||||

I would agree with that...with a caviat...Sometimes you have to allow potential to develop...Cila does not have much of an upside due to lack of speed (but he is opportunistic)...Watson has the speed but has to get some strength (which will take some time)...Tarley is Nuke...million dollar body, .10$ head...what he needs is confidence. We'll see if the pre-season training and playing with Cunningham gives it to him. If not, you're see more Watson and Cila. Quote:

We were calling Cienfuegos a midget on the Americasnet Listserver on Friday nights in 1996 then asking him for his autograph on Saturday night.

👍 The Pre-season is the key. That is where all the hype and "potential" drop by the wayside. That is where they either perform, and earn a spot, or they don't perform, and don't earn a spot.
Of course, some players look good in Pre-season and then don't come up to expectations in the season. An example is Laser Luke. But I think we will still see more of him this season. A player that didn't show up as well, but ended up getting more time is Jamie Watson. So there will probably be more adjustments after the Pre-season, but that is the main oppertunity for those who want to be regulars. I can hardly wait to see what happens this time. __________________
