Clarette. That is a good question. I don't really know. I don't think so, but I am not sure. Anybody else know?

Do you have to follow the BYU dress code when attending an athletic event?

I'm being serious.
The BYU Honor Code applies to students, staff and administration only.

Besides, I doubt these guys are abiding by the dress code:

I'm not sure, but I would guess yes. I know I got kicked out of the Union Building once for having a beard on a Friday night.

So, do you want to talk about the zillion-pound gorilla in the room then?

I have yet to see a legit complaint. It's all just bigotry. Perpetuating the prejudices against and between the local populations. I'm not supporting either side but seriously, where's the tolerance? Seriously, there is the possibility of a MAJOR soccer power playing in Utah and people are b!tching about the possibe location?! I don't get it. Would you all rather play Universidad Catolica again in Rice-Eccles? Or worse yet, have the CRapids land the friendly instead because we're too busy b!tching about going to Provo!? 🙂

I'm willing to share a legit (in my estimation) complaint, but it's liable to bring up a lot of extraneous stuff that I'm not sure really belongs on a soccer board.

Budweiser ad board revenue is a legitimate complaint, unless other sponsors pick up the slack.

A lot of Mexican League teams have beer ads on their uniforms and I think that some European teams do, too. Some national teams have beer ads on their warmups. (Colombia?)

Provo is also quite a haul from the airport.

I've been to many Blitzz games and Utah-BYU events on the BYU campus over the years. Never been harassed about my shoulder length hair or beard. Even had the student selling me a ticket for the Blitzz vs. BYU game there a few years ago ask me if I had a BYU student card to get a discount!

Gee. Do I LOOK like a BYU student?!
