I can't tell if your joking (I never can) but how would a MLS team "trade" with a some other league? 😕

Yeah, I am joking about the "trade" part.

But we should try to sell Cabrera to a Guatemalan league team before his contract expires. We would not get much, but it's more than we would get if his contract expires and he leaves for free.

Then, we could pick up Martin Machon.

Machon would spend most of his time backing up Cutler. But you can't play D Mid in this league without the occasional suspension. And Machon could come in late in games when we have multiple goal leads to kill off the game. We are going to have lots of games with multiple goal leads, right?

What's worse, a racist crotch-grabber that (according to the MLSNet article) talked to the reporter through an interpreter.

Machon was correcting my grammar (in English and Spanish) a couple of months after he got off the plane from Guatemala.

Machon is about the same age as Pope & Kreis and can train Besagno to play D Mid.

Machon speaks English better than most Americans.

you want an older guatemalan, how about bringing on "el pin" (plata)? I'd like to see municipal be a tad depleted so my Xelaju MC "Superchivos" can get somewhere!

Did Plata retire from just from international football?

Or from club football, too?

If he works cheap, why not?

Based on how '05 finished Tavo was expected to be in the rotation if not a starter. His play in camp and training since Feb. has been a disappointment even to himself. Inhaler comment= Soccergeek reference to "Goal: the dream begins"

There are constantly calls between GM's in the league. Many agents also try to broker a deal. I wouldn't be surprised to see something done. The problem is that people are calling asking for Mehdi and offering Cabrera-like players.

someone asked about trading him/SI spot. Other GMs call Pastorino; Martino was offered two days before he played here. Pastorino calls other GMs. I imagine Cabrera has been offered but we already have a SI spot open. Teams was us to take their version of Cabrera off their hands. Cabrera's agent is hoping to find a deal. If he can get us Valakari or DeRosario for Cabrera he deserves and bonus.
