agree with BTC on torres .... cleaned up at the back when others let it slip, had it not been for that great second half performance by jeff, Torres would have got my MOTM vote.

Even with yesterday's win, RSL has Chivas breathing down their kneck only one point behind them and with a better goal differential and with two games in hand. No room to slip up.

Great game, fun to watch thats for sure.

Cunningham is making me think "Mathis who?" more and more every day.

Oh and Chivas kicked the crap out of Mathis and company.

I was thinking the same thing - there wasn't a soul in the stadium 10 minutes before match time. School is out - did a lot of people leave on vacations or something?

The stadium is usually pretty empty until right around kickoff. What surprises me is how many late-comers arrive after the match begins. Soccer is a sport where the game deciding goal can be very early in the match. Wasn't there a US qualifier last year (T&T perhaps?) where we scored in like the 2nd minute and the match ended 1-nil? Arriving after the start is unthinkable in my book.

I arrived late due to factors beyond my control. That and the fact that I'm on MST (mormon standard time), as I'm sure many of the late comers are as well. 😁

my family and myself fight that MST tag so much so, I'm usually a good 15 minutes or more early to things like a soccer match.

what's hilarious is my "leaving the house" time has moved earlier and earlier. it was a 5:30 for a 7:00 match.

I left my house at 4:10 last match.

The walk-up crowd is smaller when we have home games in consecutive weeks. I noticed that trend last year as well. Expect a larger crowd at the last home game, especially if we get points out of the road games.
