I left my house at 4:10 last match.
4:10!?!?! Sheesh!

I used to leave the house early for the tailgates, etc., but now that the family wants to tag along, and my Saturday's are busier than ever, I just can't do it anymore. We still try to be on time for the games, though.

Last Saturday I had to work until 4:00, and didn't get home until 5:00 and still had to do the weekly grocery shopping and try and hit the TRAX at 6:00 (but ended up missing it so I had to take the 6:15). :P

It would be nice if we kept our attendance up, and even increased it, but has anyone noticed the league averages? We've had the 2nd most attendance two weeks in a row! I'll try to crunch some numbers and come up with some more stats to see how they compare overall.

One team's attendace numbers to completely disregard is Red Bull New York.

They've had five home games. They actually lead MLS in attendance with nearly 23,000 per game. But their numbers are completely skewed.

Here are their home game attendances:

4/8 New England 35,793
4/22 D.C. United 8,475
5/13 Chicago Fire 8,712
5/20 Chivas USA 9,573
5/24 FC Dallas 52,425

5/27 Bayern Munich 5,173 (not a league match, but more reflective of their actual attendance.

If you remove the games that didn't have either a Shakira concert and international friendly, they don't even draw 9,000 fans.

Shakira gave a concert in their opener?

Should Zack Thornton get credit for a shot on goal for his punt in the 79 minute that one hopped to Garlic?
