Jaime Watson needs more playing time.

I still scream in terror everytime Garlick has to make a play, he is still shaky, get Nolly in there and get him some playing time.

On the KALL 700 post game show they couldn't stop praising Harris, why I have no idea. He completely screwed up that easy goal on the early second half breakaway. Get him out of there earlier and let Williams play more.

Loved the smoke bomb thrown clear out in the middle of the field!

Smoke, Smoke, Smoke!

Another Jamie Watson tirade

Problem: Nobody on this team will shoot from outside the 18. This means we have to string together that many more passes under increasing pressure (which we can't do). It also means we're predictable and easy to defend - our opponents don't have to respect anyone outside the box (and they don't). RSL could really use someone who's willing and able to shoot from distance, if for no other reason than to keep the opponent honest. The best offensive play of the night was in the 84th minute when Jamie Watson cracked one from about 35. Burpo was so surprised he didn't even react. The shot missed wide by about a foot.....nothing to write home about, but then again, Cunningham missed by that much from inside the 6.

Why are there so many people around here who think Watson can't play? I'm honestly getting tired of it. Where's your evidence? He hasn't scored this year, but he's only played 16 minutes THE WHOLE SEASON. He's doing well with the reserves. He did well last year......consider this: If you normalize it by minutes played, he was #2 on the team in goals and shots on goal, second only to Kreis. Face it: This team has a better chance of scoring when he's out there. I'm not part of the Watson fan club, but I have to laugh when some of you claim we have no answers on offense, when our 2nd most efficient striker is on pace to play 30 minutes the whole year.

I also take issue with the criticism of subbing out Harris instead of Klein. True, Klein wasn't very effective, but tell me what Harris did that merited being out there? He took one long range shot that still hasn't landed. Oh, and he got caught offsides 139 times. The fact is, it's not hard to decide who on our offense to sub out......it's like shooting fish in a barrel. You could've taken out Klein, Cunningham, Kreis, or Harris and been better off.

I was proud of the crowd for applauding after Watson took that shot. It's obvious that the fans know that we need more efforts like that to open up the offense.

Jason Kreis set a new MLS record last night.

It was his 285th MLS game played. He passed Mark Chung to become the player with the most games played not to have stepped on the field in an MLS Cup.

Jeff Cunningham is now in third place.

My grandmother had a blast. She thought it was great. My daughter got an Icy and a bag of kettle corn, and she was happy. My grandmother said she was amazed how much the players use their heads to hit the ball, and how exciting the game was. She said, "There wasn't one boring minute." I wish they could have scored.

Now here’s my displeasure. I couldn't believe it took so long to get Watson in. I can't stand Williams. Sure he's great at keeping the ball, but when he's dancing around in the middle of the field, with one hand on the defender behind him, not noticing Novak's run, and then loses the ball, that frustrates me.

It's time for Watson to start. Bring in Cunningham in late in the game. The, "If it ain't broke" statement has gone out the window. It is broke, and it needs to be fixed. How many more 1-point games are we going to get at home? We need three not one!

I agree. Watson in early, and Cunningham as a sub. Williams can come in late in the game to provide a playmaking spark, if needed.

I agree with bringing in Watson. let him start and wear out the other team. Then let Cunningham come in and finish with fresh legs. I say take out Kreis and have Watson start with Harris. We could even put in Willaims for Harris late in the game. It seem slike we do best when we wear the other team down and then put in some fresh legs. Why we don't just modify that plan is beyond me. Defense looks good. Novak, Akwari, Torres and Forko are doing a good job. Ballouchy is doing great in mid too, so keep him there. Get rid of Klein, he hasn't done squat lateley. I would like to see the Brown from last year in there. He was one of the few people that i could rely on to do a good job.
Can we outsource the developing the line up to me? I guarantee you I would do it for much cheaper.
