I wasn't here most of the week, but Saturday was downright awesome. An experience I'll never forget!

Is there a way of signing a petition to incourage the developer/architect to not place one of those guady stages on one of the stadium? I realize that concerts will be played there, but there has got to be a better way of marrying the two without compromizing the asthetics of the stadium.

It just looks unprofessional to have a stage in a stadium that is supposed to be for a major professional sports team...I don't see the Yankees or Nationals placing a stage in their new stadiums.
I mean, how serious is the league if we keep putting a "back door" on the stadiums. Bottom line, build it as a soccer stadium first, complete seating all around, then see how we can fit a stage in. Removable seating, etc...

If you want to send Uncle Dave some papers telling him not to put a stage in the stadium, the best kind would be the type with pictures of dead presidents on them.

Sad to say, The Realm will be playing host to rugby, concerts, high school football, Outdoor Retailer events, etc so Checketts can pay off his investors.

Yeah, and it's not a big deal that it houses other events, but is it a soccer stadium or an expo center with stadium style seating?

Honestly, I don't care if it has a stage or not. I would prefer that the whole venue be a success and makes money so that all the stadium rs out there have to eat some humble pie and shut up about how this stadium is the stupidest idea in the history of the planet. As long as it means RSL is still here I could care a lot less about anything else as long as I have a seat for the matches. My biggest requirement is that the pitch is top notch. If the grass looks like Chicago's that's not a good thing. I want a perfect pitch for play, otherwise, who cares as long as I have a seat.
