I was wondering if it was just me... but it seems like the players sort of ignore the Loyalists a little bit.

Is it just because Praxis and I (being AS Roma fans) are used to the players caring a lot about supporters?

I noticed it too, I think it has to do with last year was the inagural season, this year was "different".

I noticed it also... i think they were disappointed with their performance. they didn't meet expectations against Houston, and knew it.

As to Cunningham going over to the RCB, he must have been confused over who gave the award.

They didn't come over, because they plan on doing it at the end of our playoff game in a few weeks...

...okay, I was disappointed too.

Personally I don't think he had the time to go over to you guys because the game was getting ready to start and you guys are a little farther away in your little corner. But thank you J.C for your warm up jersey.

JC kicks ass. Maybe the Lotalists just need to stop playing with their little rag and actually do something like make some noise during a match.

Edit: a chant other than yellow submarine that is.

I'm the new guy, so I should probably shut up. But, those who met me the other night know I'm not very good at shutting up.

So here you go.

Who cares? I would be willing to bet my house that Cunningham wasn't thinking about the politics of what group he was throwing his warmup to. He was probably thinking he had to take his warmup off, he had to get it off the field and oh, he could show a little appreciation to the fans for their support so he just threw it to some people who were close by and being loud.

Instead of complaining about who he didn't throw it to, you should be happy that he, unlike the majority of the rest of the team, did show some appreciation. You all support the same team, you just have different ways of doing it, where's the love?

Well said good sir. I demand that you don't shut up.

the disappointing thing for me, wasn't the fact that he didn't come over but it was the total lack of acknowledgment. Almost as soon as the photos stopped snapping, he turned and waved a thank you to the RCB, thats what got my rag up .... that and the fact that as loyal supporters it appears that the team (be it the players, or the staff around the pitch) know that we will be there through thick and thin and therefore seem to almost ignore us. Its like they think, we'll be there whatever, so lets concentrate on making sure the rest come back and in the end it appears as if we get no thanks for being there through thick and thin.

We sing we chant we drum and we bring a good atmosphere to our sections (be it 38 or 32), and i love the atmosphere in both sections, but i hate feeling at times that our efforts are ignored. It doesn't take much after a game to run up and show your appreciation. Not saying it needs to happen every game, but hell that was possibly the last game at RES until april, and i noticed maybe 1 or 2 players wave in the general direction of section 32 from just inside the north half before turning round and heading in to the changing room.

Don't get me wrong i will be there in april and every year RSL are here and i can attend, but it would be nice to feel appreciated.
