I think that's a great idea. How about a subcommittee of about three excited volunteers/appointees? Then they can delegate responsibilities to others if needed.

Back in 1997, at US - Costa Rica in Portland; there was a large US section. And Portland did not have an outdoor pro team at the time.

Someone should contact the guy on BS who has the Big A** Flags and the Rattler Flag & see where he's going to sit.

Then the rest of us should sit near him, bring flags & yell our lungs out for the USA.

King Of All Tailgaters Rabble Rabble can advise on a good place to tailgate.

Those lots on the south side of 5th South?

Then we can all march in on the East side of the stadium & head for the Northeast corner?

I have heard that they are going to use the south side stands for Sam's Army. That way they can all be grouped together without having to move anyone that already has season tickets. So, I do believe that at least part of this is being worked on. And I'm pretty sure that the FO will be looking at what they can arrange for accomodations too.

I've never tried to organize anything like this and have very little experience with actually going to soccer games, so I'm not sure exactly what is expected. But, I'd be willing to help out with the organization of things. Anything to help the Loyalists look good and make people realize just how great the fans of RSL are. Just let me know what you need me to do.

I would volunteer for the committee, but we need some people who:

(a) Have been a part of organizing this kidn of event in the past OR
(b) Have been to several WCQ games OR
(c) Have been to at least ONE WCQ game OR
(d) Have at least seen a picture of one (j/k) OR
(e) At least know what we can or cannot do to make this game better.

I am 1-1 in qualifiers against Costa Rica. So why not?

But all we have to is contact RSL's front office, and see what they've heard from the USSF about tickets. Then we go from there.

If Dysko & Loyal1 don't mind me doing that, I can.
