RSL @ LA Galaxy [R] April 9 Alrighty, next up is a trip to the West coast to play the Galaxy at the HDC. The Galaxy got thrashed by Columbus 3-0 without Donovan last week, will they have something to prove against RSL?
This game is also LAG's home opener, and I expect a sell-out crowd, despite the very small crowds for yesterday's openers. Even though the Gals got destroyed yesterday, I think this will be a very tough game, RSL will have to play very well to get 3. __________________

Agreed, Landon will help gell their Midfield. It will be a tough game. Hopefully Clint and Jason will rock the crappy LA d-world.
Who else but Jovan and Landon plays forward for LA? Gordon???

How sweet would it be to see a 1-0 or 2-0 shutout win for the guys coming home to play cRapids? they would be riding high with confidence and im sure it would help ticket sales and attraction for the home croud. We can only hope this is how it happens. If we play like we all know they can, then im sure this scenario will happen. DAMN, i wish the game was tomorow. a whole week is going to kill me.

I'm nervous about this one. The good thing is that LA has about as many new players as RSL does.
I know this isn't exactly earth-shattering or ground-breaking or anything, but we have GOT to finish on at least a couple of our chances. This one won't be 0-0.

I think almost as important for the win, (well not almost as important, but really important) is for it to be an exciting game. Possible RSL fans weren't exactly treated to a high quality game in which they'll be pumped up or excited to take a trip to RES.

A little tongue in cheek song about our next opponents!

However, that is FUNNY! I will even say "LOL" (and I don't use these abreviations, normally). Hehehehehehe..........sorry, still laughing. __________________ 🙁 Is it gametime yet? 😉 Last edited by Jim Umber : 04-07-2005 at 02:32 PM.

I think the team looked relaxed and fit at practice (Williams excepted, although he was chill too) so I think they'll go in with all pistons firing. I mean, can we even count last week as a true opener? All that wind and rain... this game at the LA Gals probably feels more like an opener than against the Metros. Who knows... I just feel that if our front line keeps up the pressure and Countess has a solid (not necessarily perfect, just solid) game then we must come up winners.

Anybody know the predicted lineup for LAG? How is their defense and midfield.
