Cal State Fullerton men DO tend to be incredibly good-looking.

Here's a wacky question:

It looks like Brian Hall was the ref.

Did anyone see who the AR's were? I spent a bunch of the game at the bouncy house or in line for ice cream.

Did we see Palomino & Gunther's MLS debut?

Yes, yes he was. Could you not tell by the rousing chorus of boos emanating from the stadium? :D

Hey everyone. It was a great weekend...
Tonight I will be posting pictures I took at the pep rally and before the match.

I still do not have my normal equipment out of the shop but I have been assured that I will have it for the next home game so I will have some action shots.

Here is a little teaser for the shots that I will post later tonight. (They will be a lot bigger too)

(l to r) Steve Pastorino, The Usual Shop, Areluis(II) and Jim Umber.

After watching the recorded game:

1) Whenever Heather Mitts had a story to tell about the teams/players, it was obvious she was simply reading a script.
2) The Loyalists got some good coverage.
3) Its obvious RSL still has to gel. Saturday’s game wasn’t exactly attractive soccer.
4) My MOTM is Rusty Pierce. He is great at defense with great speed.
5) Kreamy at times looked like he was lost.

Areluis, did you get the entire match or did yours cut off in the 88th minute as well?

Agreed about Heather Mitts! Extremely easy on the eyes but not so comfortable in front of the camera... maybe more experience will make it easier!

Loyalist coverage seemed to be only when we were not cheering or chanting!
I was hoping our section would rate a shot after the goal! We went absolutely mad! I would have liked to have seen that!

Ditto on MotM... Rusty and Tiger Fitzgerald are my new heroes!

Heather Mitts was more fluid than Brandy Chastain. Eventually they should get better. I like the fact that they got rid of whatever her name was from last year.

👍

If anyone has a copy of the game, I'd like to see it. Drumming for the whole game was fun, but It makes it harder to actually follow the game! 😕 So I wouldn't mind a chance to actually see what happened. 😉
