Ouch, indeed. It was painful to watch the SJ game. I really thought they would pull it out. Nope.

However, if he's a Crapids fan, he better not let himself get carried away too far. I expect, even aside from my natural optimism, he will be very silent, after the Rocky Mountain Cup is decided in our favor.

I suppose you could remind him that at least our team has an excuse for looking like an expansion team.

That is not a bad come-back. Thanks.

Another stat just emailed to me...

Chivas has scored as many goals on the road as we have at home. And they have also scored as many goals at home as we have at home. Of course, Chivas fans really have to stretch for stats like this since they are fully 5 points behind us.

Will someone please remind me what a goal is? It's been so long since I've seen one.

I think that's when the ball goes in that little box looking thing with the net on it. I'm not sure though.

Want another scary thought?
If Chivas wins their next 2 games and we lose our next 2 games, Chivas will pass us.

Isn't that scary? πŸ™

Before we meet Chivas again they have Dallas, KC, Chicago. We have LA, Chicago, Metrostars. I honestly don't think it is likely that they will gain any points on us, but I think our GF/GA stats are likely to level out.
