Nothing wrong with wanting to know, but you can also ask by PM. That is where things like this should be dealt with.

Disagree. On one hand, there's no need to make a big show. We don't need to know specifics. On the other hand, until there are rules set in place, how are we to know that we aren't misbehaving as well?

Of course, that's also just one man's opinion

Wow, your gone for a day or so and a lot happens.
I am not sure why exactly Ska got banned, but I assume that it had something to do with a rather negative conversation he had with the other mods. If and when they want to make that public, I am sure they will do so. I for one seemed to get on his bad side a lot (although I am not sure why exactly to be honest) but I personally didn't have anything to do with his banning.

I agree though, we need to make sure there are official info available to tell ppl, in black&white, what the rules and penalities are.
Of course all of this is subject to Neil, who completely owns this forum and pays for every dime by himself (except for those wonderful ppl who donate).

Finally I just want to say I love this forum and I hope this doesn't destroy the good flow of conversation we have always had.

If there is anything else the mods can do to make the forum better, let us know. I will forward any request I get to the master mod, Neil.

Have a great weekend!

I found this on another soccer forum (not BS) that maybe we can implement all or portions thereof to make others aware of what can get you sanctioned:

Hi everyone... I started this thread and I think it should end. Neil posted a great explanation and I'm satisfied (not that that really matters). But I just thought you should know. I feel better about the whole turn of events and hope you do to. Good luck and for anyone I offended/made-real-mad I am sorry. 🙁

I think that there is a difference between having the rules out there for all to know and airing dirty laundry in public. I agree that everyone should be aware of what is and isn't allowed, but individual situations dealing with those public rules should be handled in private.

Those are good rules, we'll apply some but not all and I'll set that up. Thanks Bard.

Interesting. My posts in grammatically incorrect Spanish should definitely be removed.

Come to think of it, not too many of my posts in English are grammatically correct.

Won't removing any posts in French get the Ontario Soccer Web into trouble with the Language Police?
