Rumor has it that he was "asked not to post anymore." Seems a shame because I thought people liked him in general despite his assertive personality.

Do we really need this on the board right now? What exactly does anyone hope to accomplish by posting things like this? Will this help the board be a better place?

I think that if someone has a problem with someone or the way the board is being run that there are plenty of people that it can be taken to privately and dealt with there instead of involving the entire board. There can be no good that comes from that. Let's not ruin the great thing we have going. Please.

You're right, but I think that there should be a thread or someting in the agreement that we originally read when we signed up that discusses the types of behavior that can get you banned.

Clearly racist, sexist and hateful posts are out. But obviously there are other issues that could get you in trouble that the general forum should know about.

I'm not trying to start something or encourage disrespectful behavior, I'm trying to tread very lightly around this. But it should be discussed.

I'm not out to ruin the boards.
I like this forum. It is the best forum I've been in.

I don't have a problem with how the board is run. I think it has been run very well. Any questions I have had were answered and any issues I had were addressed.

This thread is just another attempt to find out how the forum works.

Has anyone else been banned? I'm guessing that is what happened. If not, someone is going to correct me. 🙂

No, nobody else has been banned (again, correct me if I'm wrong). This a new thing for the boards. We ought to have it clear why it happened and how I can avoid it.

I just wanted to know (and you'll notice the humble/question/please emoticon I used :o ) some information. I figure it is fair game to know what is going on right? Or is that a 'no no' on this forum?
I don't think it should be.

I wasn't pointing blame at anyone... in fact I toned down my original message QUITE A BIT. I think one person saw it and I decided that was enough.

Who knows... maybe I'll get banned for this thread... and some people may be happy about it.

Okay, FINAL THOUGHT:

I don't know the whole story... and I don't need to know the whole story. I just want to know why someone got banned.

oooh... one last thought... I tried to edit out the [forum elites] part but it didn't work. That's a leftover from my original vitriolic post.
