This could be Hannover, MLS and Mathis but the way it is worded sounds suspect!

It surely is worded that way, and would seem to mean just that, but we have been told several times that we have the first choice and if he comes back to MLS, we get him. Unless someone is playing fast and loose with the rules, or the FO change their minds about wanting him, he should be ours.

Hmmm... I was told that "if it happens look for an announcement before mid-January." And that if the details get worked out and he returns to MLS he will be in an RSL kit come April.

Add to that, I was told that if he saw me in my Deutscher Fussball Bund jacket, he would probably turn and run the other way as fast as he could. I take as very promissing indicators that he is head back to MLS.
