This would be a good game to see what he can do with speed on the flanks and Cleetus at attacking mid. I would like to see both Gregorio and Scarlett on the flanks with Trembley as a sub. Cila was playing well, but it may also be a good time to see what Tarley can do.

I think Tarley will definetly get time tonight, but I doubt he starts. Doesn't seem like Ellinger's style.

Its got to be Kreis and Cila or Washington up top to start.
Then we'll see Sparky Watson and Giant Slayer Tarley.

In Newcastle, England, 20,000 fans showed up to see Michael Owen put on a black and white jersey for the first time ever. That’s right, more people showed up to see a man put on a jersey then will show up at tonight’s MLS match.

Not much to do in Newcastle, apparently.

Actually, they have great support up there and they've been looking for good news--any good news--since the team fell apart last year.

Trib is guessing that Tarley won't start

http://www.sltrib.com/sports/ci_2987590

About RSL: Guatemala's Gustavo Cabrera will not be available, he is fulfilling national team duty. . . . Ellinger said Melvin Tarley, on loan from the Minnesota Thunder of the USL, would likely see time as a substitute.
About D.C. United: Eddie Pope's former team is in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, and looking to hold on to the final spot in the playoffs. . . . It is without perhaps its biggest star, 16-year old phenom Freddy Adu, who is playing in the national program.

Er? I think perhaps they are confused by certain advertising. Arena's roster for USA/MEX is posted here, and Adu ain't on it. Nor is Eddie Pope.

The Freddy and Nikolas Besagno might be with the Under 17's, getting ready for their trip to Peru.
