I wonder what the "sponsored restaurant" will be. Ya know, where will the players go to mingle with us peons? I really liked being downtown. Running into the boys in adult establishments...Conversations were more fun :whoo:

I just hope that it is a place I can bring my kids with me, well my daughter anyway.

Sandy is going to be a great location. Larry Miller said if he could ever get a baseball team to Utah, guess where he would want to put a stadium? That’s right, Sandy. Also there was talk of putting a In-N-Out Burger and Cheese Cake Factory with the proposed gravel pit development. That’s instant yummy 3 minutes from the stadium.

Sandy looks for a bigger kick than soccer

Sandy has eyes for more than Major League Soccer. As the suburb tries to land a stadium for Real Salt Lake near the South Towne Expo Center, it is talking about leaving room nearby for a baseball team -- maybe the Salt Lake Stingers, maybe something bigger, like Major League Baseball.

Why? Soon, we shall be exiles no more. Don't know how well this will be received, but the Rover Family will be moving to Utah in a month or so. Everyone except Rover himself, who still has some commitments to the Marine Corps for awhile longer.

So get ready, we're coming up. Already bought a house. Where?

Sandy, Soccertown. ⚽

So I guess it's time to move back to Oregon, huh? (just kidding) We'll look forward to seeing you (I missed you the one time you came to a game).

Actually, Sandy may not have a lot of things going for it, but I live in Spanish Fork. To me, Sandy is the Big City!

On BS, a poster claims that since the papers leaked the stadium secret, that RSL will do the announcement today at 3pm...

Normally I believe everything on BS, but I don't know.
Is this true?
