Eddie Pope is a great defender and RSL would have benefitted from his play, regardless what all the DC United and Metros players say. Not only is he a great player and a voice in the backfield, he is a starting USMNT player (forget the strike right now). Having Mathis and Pope would have greatly increased RSL's exposure.
However, I trust Steve and John to make the right decisions. If I knew what I was doing I would be a GM in MLS. 🙂

Heck, I thought I’d never see the day when I’d see the likes of Kreis and Mathis playing for a team right here in SLC! Anything more than that is gravy!

Something like that could really do a lot to pique interest. I'd vote for this one twice if I could.

What about the 'Got Milk?' thing?

I know it was over done with the Got Moab? bit but what about...
all of these with a soccer ball for the 'o' in got
got Real! a play on get real!
got goal?
got game?
got ball?
got clint?
that is all i can think of off the top of my head.
any thoughts or other ideas...

I would love a shirt that says: Got Cletus? or Got Kreis?

With a RSL logo.
