I don't consider myself an optimist, just curious what the season tix question is relating to? Are you saying there's a connection between watching the team lose in person and having the optimism slowly drained out of you? I could imagine that. Or are you getting at something else?

yes. Bingo.

Aero, Dad, Deuce, I don't view your posts as the overly optimistic type. Yes you support the team but occasionally I still hear reality in your posts, not blind support.

Listen, if I didn't support this team, I wouldn't show up to in a cape to the groundbreaking, I wouldn't have gone to the final vote by the county, i wouldn't renew my season tickets.

however, I've watched teams quit, players not hustle, weird tactical decisions and (even though they apologized) have been cussed out by the front office. forgive me if my optimism is somewhat laid back these days.

But I have been granted the FO Butt Boy title. How can anyone with that title be anything but overly optimistic? 😁

But Aero, so have I. I think we were lumped together at that point.

Oh yeah, that's right. I forgot about that. I guess that means you are overly optimistic too. Quit trying to pretend otherwise.

I have one set, AND I'm very optimistic. Am I the exception to the rule? I probably get just as depressed after a loss as the next guy (slam my fists on the nearest piece of furniture and stew about it for an hour to the point that my wife doesn't want to talk to me), but that doesn't change my optimism that the next win is just around the corner.

I don't define that as optimism, I define that as being a fan (even Y fans have hope for a win against Utah some time 😉)

The Optimism I'm talking about is that blind faith we were discussing a couple of weeks ago where there is not one wrong being done anywere. The PR dept rocks! Dave didn't do anything wrong in negotiating for the stadium. Ellinger is the greatest coach since Lombardi... that type of optimism.

and yes, Aerick, I think you fall into that category. 😉
