Gee. Kids with a limited concept of teamwork. Reminds me of Jr. Jazz.

Actually, they call it "foot". And not just on the streets. And only above average athletes play organized sports in any culture. That's generally how it works. Kids without the skills generally gravitate to other interests.

So now you're saying that the French are leaders in fashion and love? Wow. Insightful.

Well, I've been "wowed" so far, so bring it on.

Let's see 'em.

I don't want to pull a "knowwonnose" on you, and attempt to impress you with my pedigree, but for the record, I've spent more time in Mâcon than you have. Just in case you're wondering 😉

And they can sing and are great dancers too, right? And no black guy should ever be an American football QB, they aren't smart enough for it.

Get a clue.

I'm really sorry people. Please note that I edited my original post. I don't want anyone to think that I was speaking derogatively about the non-black North Africans. I think the world of them. I hope that you can forgive my poor choice of words. http://www.realsaltlake.org/forums/showpost.php?p=60990&postcount=120

I wonder how good the French National team could be if they were able to actually develop the soccer culture amongst the Arab and African communities in France. Then they wouldn't have to rely on the raw, selfish talents of the likes of Zidane, Henry, Thuram, Vieira, Desailly, Gallas, Makelele, Govou, Cissé, Wiltord......

I agree with this but only to a point. I think it's correct to be paitent if he's building a team. But in glancing at RSL's roster compared to other teams, I'm not sure how much building is going on since they have a lot of guys that are 29 - 34. At what point does it go from building a team to he's just trying to buy time?

That's reasonable, but if I was starting a team, I wouldn't want all 25 and younger. I'd put some vets in the lineup to coach them along. Notice, Chivas is the same sort of split: very young with very old.

Average age of RSL: 26.
