Great to see the number of responses to this thread. It shows, though not entirely united, we have all have the same goal, one united stadium of passionate singing fans!

A couple of thoughts.
One, we need to have a chant that is easy to remember, sounds good, and is distinctly RSL. i.e. The Ole Ole Ole chant is known, and to be honest, a lot of folks wouldn't join in that chear because, in a way, it comes across as poser. You know what I mean? It's like its the typical soccer cheer, not very unique. We need to think of others to use.

Two, as you are aware, there are a number of chillins (children) at the games, we involve them, we involve their folks and older siblings...

Three, I like the idea of having a booth at the gates to get the word out on the support groups. People fear what they don't know.

I saw one of the Jesters at the game. Not sure about the others, though.

In regards to the supporters groups, my position is still "wait and see". If we near the mid-point of the season and we still have a problem, then we need to start thinking of ways to solve it. Right now, something great may still happen as a result of the move, and if we act too quickly to try and solve a problem that doesn't exist, we may stifle it.

anyone worried about the RCB and Loyalists fighting need to come to one of Lowd Crowd FC's soccer matches on the weekend.

there is no fighting between the two groups.

there is no fighting between the two groups.

there is no fighting between the two groups.

there is no fighting between the two groups.

(did I get my point accross?)

for those that don't remember last year...

the first game was sold out, so you can't determine club size by the first game.

the Loyalist section wasn't that big at the start of the season and it grew throughout the season. If by home game 4 there isn't a change, then start to worry, but make sure everyone that comes to sit because they want to yell knows he is welcome so they will come back.

I'm not saying there is any actual fighting going on like last year, but there is still that animosity there and you can tell that certain people in both groups don't like each other. There are still jabs taken directed at the groups from both sides and it's rather childish and getting quite old.

IMO, there's nothing wrong with the small jabs here and there.

1. don't let it get to you.
2. let those taking the jabs get over it on their own. the majority aren't taking jabs.
3. relax.
4. there is no fighting and we get along well in our own areas.
5. if you come to LCFC's matches, bring a drum, we could use the supporters and frankly, some of you could use the practice (see, small jab that didn't hurt anyone).

did I mention that the two groups aren't fighting.

I understand that, sometimes it's funny. But when people are too busy trying to figure out which supporters group is better it seems they forget that both groups are actually here for the same reason.

Oh well, I'll leave it alone now.

Could it have something to do with beer sales at the new stadium?

Or is it that we are all just goose-steppers?

Like R-S-L: we could have the east side say R, the north side say S, and the east side say L. Have a couple of people with signs on the east side for R, a couple of people go to the north side with signs, and then hold up signs for the east side.

Just a thought....

Megaphones would also help.
Good luck with the megaphones. Everytime I yelled into mine last year the Gestapo police came to shut me down.

Probably, and I don't know...?

But I'm not the official Jester mouthpiece either. Just reporting what I have heard.
