Then its time to sit down with Pastorino and reason with him. Explain to him that his product is no longer sellable and find out what plans he has to improve it.

Set some benchmarks and hold him accountable. Explain to him what the consequences will be in they aren't met.

That is going from a losing team to losing a team!

Why don't you take a less destructive approach first... Write to the GM and Dave Checketts... Tell them your concerns and what your planned actions will be if the situation is not remedied.

Then if that fails you can say you did what you could and nothing was done to your satisfaction... and do what you feel is right...

But if you just stop coming without so much as a whimper then you will in the very least have to change your forum name, and you will help to prove all the soccer bashing is justified...

Soccer will never work in Utah... why build a stadium no one even wants to come to RES... and so on and so on...

Protest if you need to... but do it in a constructive way... that may actually lead to results.

Well said Deuce. I think the team is still at a point where it's not 100% that they'll stick around. The key is letting them know how the team's performance affects your decisions. I don't think not going to home games is needed. But write to them and let them know that those buddies you got the the games last year aren't as interested this year cuz it's not as fun to go when they tie or lose at home. Or point out that you vowed not to buy another RSL jersey until they make the playoffs. They appreciate the loayl fans but I'm sure they realize a lot of their business depends on those who are less than fanatical. So it's good to remind them of what they're missing out on.

LA is now tied with RSL but we have two games in hand.

Chivas is currantly leading FC Dallas.

Our next two opponents are Chivas and LA.... a possible swing of 12 points. (6 for each match since each match is against a conference foe).
could...it...have....gone....any....worse?

Let's perform a science experiment. We know how the team perfroms with Ellinger. Let's bring in a substitute coach for two weeks and see how s/he does with the team and what the results are. if they are better, then we know Ellinger sucks. If they are the same, then we get another subcoach. If they results are worse, then we know Ellinger is a genius.

SUB OUT ELLINGER!!!!

"Fire Ellinger" head bags are definitely in order. Perhaps a pitch invasion just before the 2nd half kick off? We take the pitch while the players are out there, the cameras are rolling, just before the kick off. We carry a bed sheet with "Fire Ellinger Now!" spray painted on it and just sit down with our paper bags over our heads until we are removed one-by-one. Then, the very next day, we do it again at the FO and continue each day until either Ellinger is fired or we are issued a restraining order.
Good idea? Bad idea?
