At this point, I think we are all sick of the "we just didn't execute" crap. I think the FO needs to take a serious look at this.

Dear Dave Checketts:
Its time to admit that you made a mistake in selecting John Ellinger. Before becoming Real Salt Lake's first head coach, Ellinger had only a single season of professional coaching experience, as he was an assistant coach for the Columbus Crew in its inaugural 1996 season. John is in over his head. Please bail him out!!! __________________

I agree with Bardguy. Maybe we should collectively be the coach. I will run their butts off...and give them group therapy thats my contribution

Jeff Agoos has a decent chance is my guess. He has lots of pro playing experience (and a ridiculous number of USMNT caps) , is well respected by players, knows MLS inside and out, and probably could be gotten on the cheap. Little coaching experience is his downfall, but he couldn't be worse than Ellinger. He is passionate (he once burned his Nats uniform upon learning Arean cut him), and knows how to deal with, lets call it embarassing performanances (remember the hoopla around his World Cup own goal) and still come out a media darling. We sure need that.
I would like to see Jon Stewart brought in, but I'm guessing that may not happen.

IMO, I don't think replacing Ellinger will make a bit of difference. No matter who the Coach is, the RSL fans will never be happy...For everyone of you who think you can do a better job, go for it...You too will have the same problem. It's not the coach, it's the players. Ellinger did have good stats with the U-17's and why is that??? Because the players listened to him and their egos weren't as big as their pocketbooks.. Example, Williams being pulled and then acting like a spoiled child all week.
I say we give it a little more time.

You are joking, right? I don't really think it will take that much for RSL fans to be happy. We have been pretty low. I think that the players may have something to do w/ it...but...the coach is supposed to get the players ready to play. That doesn't seem to be happening. Something needs to change. We have changed out most of the players. I think it now may be time for a coaching change. I know about the reports about Williams in the paper. I am not sure I quite believe them after last night. Williams didn't seem to be very arrogant after the game. He even bothered to come over and acknowledge the fans...someone even got his jersey. I would wager that the reporter was a bit hard on him. I really don't think Andy is a spoiled brat who won't listen to the coach (if someone else knows differently please speak up). I really hope that your post was in jest and I just took it the wrong way...
