I think it's time to get our chalk out 😉

anyone care to write a congratulatory letter to the Trib expressing how their "unbiased" reporting brought about such a wonderful change! [/sarcasm].

we could all sign it as a show of solidarity.

I'm pretty upset right now.

And I thought when Gordon Monson of the Tribune ran Rick Majerus out of town was low. The Tribune really outdid themselves this time. Can anyone else say "bird cage liner"?

And here I thought that Salt Lake County was blue democrat. I thought that democrats were all about looking out for the little guy and protecting and helping the minority. If pro-soccer in SLC isn't a minority, I don't know what is.

It's too bad that certain news outlets couldn't focus more energy on getting Ellinger fired...

This isn't a bad idea actually..... Of course, I never said that. You can't prove I did it.
...
Because I haven't. Yet.

This isn't the end.

The press is not anti- soccer. RSL just made the mistake of bunking with some political villains.

Dolan and Curtis don't get any good press.

I believe a change of scenery will restore a lot of good will in the press.

Agreed entirely. I hope that RSL also adopts a policy of complete transparency from here on out when working with government entities. It is truly the only way to go.

So I just got done re-reading the SLCO press release. Unless I am reading it wrong, Carroon says that TRT funds are to be used for the Salt Palace and other convention centers. Of course if it weren't for RSL's lobbying those funds wouldn't even be available to them anymore! I can't beleive how RSL has let this thing get twisted so badly against them.

we may all be over reacting ... we stilll haven't heard word from dave or anyone else of authority in RSL. All that was actually turned down was the 45 mil from the two councils. That is all they can object to. If dave or someone else can find a way to raise that 45, then the council surely can't disagree...

right now i don't care if the stadium is in, brigham city, provo, slc, ogden or anywhere else .... as long as we keep it in north utah and can still attend the games ... thats my concern right now. I'd prefer to have a stadium a little further away and not be able to drink beer there or something similar than see our team up and move because the league says they need a SSS and they can't get one here.
