How about we make a questionnaire gauging the public's true understanding of the issues regarding the stadium. Then during our chalking (😉) we can give people little pieces of candy if they're willing to take our 3-question survey. Then we can give them a flyer as they leave that has the correct information.

Sometimes my creative juices run a little too freely. But it's better to do SOMETHING big and effective than sit and watch RSL leave the state.

I can't give any details, because there aren't any yet, but The Loyalists will be constructing a response. All RSL supporters, will be asked to help in this effort. In the mean time, keep making phone calls and writing letters. Those actions will be a part of any strategy we employ. If any of you have any ideas, please contact me via email or pm.

If you don't mind, I'd rather keep the conversation flowing here. And this kind of effort needs all the fans, not just one group. But if you put something together, put the info here and let everyone get involved.

That's a better question. And I'm sure the answer involves sidewalk chalk somehow. We have a legacy that we can't turn our backs on now.

I can't promise much, but I am willing to sacrifice at least a little for my team. Let us know what we can do to help!

We don't need to be stifling any flow of ideas at the moment... even ones you disagree with...

If ideas are posted here, people can bounce ideas off each other and brainstorm. If they're just sent to one person, that cripples the brainstorming process.

My kids LOVE sidewalk chalk. I'm always getting on them about leaving sticks of it scattered all over the front lawn.

I'm not very good about drafting letters on subjects that confuse me, but with a great resource that I have here on this forum, i'm sure I can come up with something if I spend some time on it. I'm all for getting our voice heard. Why would people not want something in their community that would generate a tax base that can keep their property taxes lower, bring in people from other communities to shop and spend their money, and become the envy of surrounding communities? (ok, maybe i'm getting a little carried away). This great benefit for a measly $35 million (relatively speaking), which will certainly be recouped many times over in a relatively short period of time.

I hope the stadium can be built in Sandy. Then instead of mooning the visiting team as they fly out in a plane if the stadium were at the Fairpark, we could all gather after every game and moon LHM as he sits in his office at Jordon Commons. 🙂
