Dear RSL,

If you have someone in charge of PR, fire them, or at least relegate them.

Sincerely,

The uneducated public grasping for information

Dear Salt Lake County,

I don't know if you heard this but MLS is in charge of where the US and Mexican mens national teams play in the US.

If you don't get this stadium deal done, you have no only kicked out the only summer entertainment I have but are also giving a giant finger to MLS, which means no more Nats matches.

Again, thanks for your forsight (you m*###^@#&!*@#@#*&##ers)

Here's one idea Arelius...

be patient with me everyone...

We need:

Karl Malone. Yup, we need him here to help garner support for soccer in Utah. Why? He and Larry have always been at each other's throats. Even though they are in good graces right now.... why not give Karl one last chance to elbow Larry in the ribs.

Utahns (for whatever reason) love the Mailman. They simply do.

with 4 weeks to go, i'm really drawing blanks right now.... this is all i got.

Do you know how to get in touch with him or his agent?

I'm sure none of the RSL players want to leave Salt Lake. They brought their familes, purchased homes and are calling this their home. IMO, you have each of the players out in public places promoting the team and what they bring to the community as a team and as individuals. Lets remind the public and public officials the numerous charity events the players have been involved with, the mentor programs at the schools and how many of you have kids that have come home from the games or from school where a player appeared that day with smiles on their faces and telling you some day I'm gonna be just like Kriess, Williams, Watson, etc. etc. These are some of the reasons we need RSL to stay in Salt Lake. I thought our city was family and promoted family togetherness. Going to the RSL games is a fun place for family to spend time together in a good clean atomsphere. One person can't do it all alone. However together we can, and let's not forget, we vote the public officials to their offices.

As much as this sounds like a good idea, this simply will not work.

What needs to be done is what needed to be done months ago. A large scale Public Relations campaign by RSL. Commercials, editorials, radio ads, the 17 radio shows Dave did today. That's what needed to be done and needs to be done.

but as long as LHM is behind the negative campaign, it really is going to be a 90 foot hole we need to get ourselves out of.

Channel 2's Dave Fox just reported that the County Council is considering bringing the stadium proposal back next week for another vote. He is quoting FO sources.
