I don't see how Dave expressing his need to leave the city and sell the team is any type of 'threat'. It's a reality. We'd rather know in advance then at the last minute when it's too late to do anything about it, wouldn't we?

I too am frustrated by the lack of PR on this, however I kinda think Stucki may be right in that they believed, based on the "wink-wink, nod-nod's" from state and county leaders, that all would be well. They probably felt like they didn't need to spend a lot of money on PR because this deal was in the bag, and the public didn't really need to buy into it because it was going to be handled by the leaders. It's only been a month or so since the first deal was shot down, IIRC. And they probably spent their time and money since then trying to figure out an alternative funding mechanism, and shoring up county council votes rather than trying to sell the public on this. Now the public is their only option, and they're working it pretty hard.

working it pretty hard? Hows that? what have they done? All I have seen is some mambo jumbo letter from Drunk Uncle Dave and then a two faced radio show saying the exact opposite of what the letter said 8 hours earlier. I dont trust him no mo.

Huh? How did you get that?

I've heard him and Larry Miller on probably 6 or 7 different broadcasts, and have read at least 2 official releases by the team. I haven't seen, or heard anything that I would consider "two-faced".
