We've already got one of those in SLC. It's called the "West Side of the Stadium"

Give it a try yourself. It really does make a difference in what you pick up on during the match.

If this is what your supporter's club does, I'd just love to see what the rest of your fans are like.

Come on guys, the CoRapids first supporters were called the River Ratz. They have made a little progress in 11 years. 🙄

I just don't pick up on those things the same with all the drumming and singing and jumping going on.

Funny that you can be close enough to call out to Mullen but high enough that you notice subtlies like how out of position Denton is. I love the irony of class 6 being one of the subtle, erudite sections of Mile High.

If I as an individual or The Loyalists collectively have been unwelcoming to people in E32 it was not intentional. This will not come as news to many of you but I am in the dark about my lack of welcome to people.
If you're hacked off at me pm me or email me. Maybe I can't make it good but at least I'll know where to start.

The whole reason I enjoy games in The Loyalist section is home field advantage. A lot of the seat dwellers at RES will get into that at times. If not they at least help build a stadium with their ticket dollars. I'd like to think that my ticket money goes toward paying player salaries.

So, come join us in The Loyalists section. Let's create a home field advantage. Let's make the cRapids cry. Maybe I'll put down the drum long enough to work on the welcome.

As for the sign at the portal, it disappeared after about 2-3 games last year.

A) Seriously, you should know that Colorado doesn't have fans. Have you seen their attendance? They're on track to set a couple league attendance records this year both for lowest single game attendance EVER and first team to have declining season average attendance 4 or 5 years in a row.

B) Why is everyone stuck on this euro-centric, single-minded idea of what it constitutes to be a fan? If those western europeans were wearing nothing but a thong to the game I swear 3/4 of you would do it "cuz that's what a real fan does". And I don't mean RSL, just american soccer fans in general. I realize some of you with kids go the "traditional" route. But something like Class VI is great for the parents. They get around other adults that know the game. They get into the game but they can still answer their little ons questions during the game and stuff like that. And their kids aren't surrouned by drunks that are swearing like a sailor. In the end it's 6 of one, half dozen of the other.

Just having more than one supporters club seems to be an accomplishment for this team. It's embarassing.

That was so sad that I can't even smack it down. 🙁

Poor Colorado.

Go RSL!

I get all that with the Loyalists too. On top of being able to cheer, clap, and sing too. My kids enjoy that part of the game most of all. It seems that where I sit is better for the parents and the kids over being in Class VI.

You mean that there is another group that sits around cheering occasionally that calls themselves a supporters group too?

No, that's not what all fans do, but you expect it from a supporter's club. And that's not eurocentric, look at a football . Want to see crazy people, go to a Raider's . Most of them probably couldn't even identify what sport a soccer ball went with if given 3 tries. Or wait, how about a college basketball fan? Ever seen Duke play NC? And yes a "real fan" cheers for their team, no matter the sport, no matter the team.

I am still amazed someone in a SUPPORTER's CLUB is advocating sitting on their hands and not even participating. Again, if that's the best support you get, maybe it's time to move, I'm sure Rochester would love a team. What do your regular fans do? Do they just boo the team just for stepping on the field?

A bit off topic, but while I don't like dynasties (and therefore don't care for the Blue Devils, I have to give major props to the Cameron Crazies who really know how to cheer for their team.
