So why the need to shorten the name? Seems kind of Lazy to me! What is wrong with Cunningham?
Some names just can't or shouldn't be shortened, but if you feel the absolute necessity to shorten it, why not Opie? (You know the character that Ron Howard played before he was Richie Cunningham!)

We could even whistle the theme to the "Andy Griffith Show" when he is announced or when he has the ball.

Opie it is! 😉

I'm glad I'm not the only one with my mind in the proverbial gutter.

Please tell me your just joking.
Otherwise, do you just look for reasons to complain?

Excuse me? Just for the record it was a joke to point out that shortening the name is stupid.

I am sorry if I hurt your feelings, but regardless of how important you think you are, I don't go around finding reasons to complain about things you say!
It is a legitimate comment. And if you would not make it so bloody easy then maybe I would not comment so much on your posts.

I am not trying to pick a fight or anything and i am sorry if you feel picked on but you really need to watch how you say people complain too much.

I merely commented on a shortening of a name by you, and from all accounts, only you, because I have not seen in print, nor heard anyone else say it. I commented because if you want to so obviously associate a legitimate player with a title so easy to make fun of. I felt compelled to offer up one that when made fun of might not be found offensive by a large majority of fans.

So please Ethan just take a step back from the keyboard and breathe. cos i have infinitely more constructive things to do with my life then coddle your hurt feelings when someone asks you a question you don't like.

That is pretty much all I have to say about it so if you want to blow it out of proportion please feel free, but I think you will find you are only playing with yourself!

I've heard him referred to as "Cunny" by a lot of people over on BS... mostly the Colorado contingent when they were discussing the trade. I personally don't find it offensive, but you might see me holding back a laugh as I say it.

The debate SHOULD be whether Kreis ever sees the pitch again (disclaimer: I am a Kreis fan)...
Remember folks, he is now trying to come back from his second major knee injury...and he is on the wrong side of 30...and he was never particularly quick...and he never had more than average speed...and he is 5'8" (in cleats)...

Though we should all wish him the best as fans and hope that he recovers fully...the odds are that he will never be more than 75-80% of what he was before the 2 surgeries...I cannot see him being effective on the RES turf next year as either a forward or mid.

Get used to seeing Tarley (he can only get better...he won't have Clint screaming at him all game anymore)...

BS? Oh that explains alot! LOL!

To me it just sounds like a person attempting to imply they know the guy well enough to call him something that people giggle at when they hear it!
I for one, have a little more respect for him than that!

I wonder if he likes that nick, I may ask him today?

FWIW I think Ethan over-reacted to a joke, and i merely wanted to express my desire that he find some way to vent his pent up agression. May I suggest a workout of some kind.
I know it works for me!

I agree Deuce. You've been a lot nicer on the boards recently.
I applaud you.
