Don't forget McBride.

And when he's screaming incessantly at his young Colorado teammates, turning these potential stars into thumb-sucking head cases, just remember that we're paying for that too.

Is Cunningham on the last year of his contract?

If he is, and if he is not happy in SLC; he might keep it his little secret so he can land a contract in Europe.

Well, then, looks like he is having a contract year and we all know that players up their level when they know they are working for their next contract. Here's to Cunnholio scoring a hattrick on those bastards from Colorado.

??? Usually a contract year refers to the year their contract runs out, which would have been the season that just ended. He'll sign a new contract with FSL in the next couple of months, but then he'll have his contract. Unless I missed something in the trade announcement that says Jeff signed a c1-year deal for 2006 already...

Erm ... Jason ... didn't you spend all year bashing Mathis and saying how poor he was and what suckers RSL was?

Yeah, it doesn't take a rocket science to figure out who came out ahead on this deal.

I believe Jason's first post was: "You robbed us blind."

Remember folks... the best strategy is to get his hopes up as high as we can ("Mathis will be great for you!! Five goals in one game! Woohee!") so that we can watch the long, hard fall to reality throughout the season. Really, people, you are not nearly malicious enough here.

I'm not sure if this has been posted elsewhere or not, but here is an article from ESPN on the trade.
