I seem to vaguely recall him having an injury, but I don't think it was all that serious...

I have been wondering the same thing. I think at the last reserve game (whenever that was in regards to the last regular games I dont recall now) that he looked really sick and sat out with his hood over his head all game.

I just read that the Metrostars were interested in Mathis and that Eddie Gavin was the possible trade. If that was the case I wonder why they didn't try to get him over Cunningham.

Go to the above site. The article is titled: Mathis may yet be on the move again.

So with Clint gone we look something like this...

Cunningham-Kreis
-------Tarley
Scarlett----Williams
------Sequeira
Broome-Pope-Akwari?Cabrera?-Cabrera/Brown

Our back line is hard to determine..

Of course we have Sequeira and possibly Pope to the WC next season... In that situation:
------Cunningham-Kreis
--------------Tarley
-----Scarlett------Williams
-------------Cutler?<----Who would play here?
Broome-Akwari-Cabrera-Brown

Not half bad... We should be okay next season, Playoffs here we come! :signrocko

Pretty much what I envision, except I don't think there's any way Tarley starts as the attacking midfielder. Move Williams up there, then plug in one of our many "winger du jour" on the right.

From what I have heard from our mighty FO and local SLC Media, the debate is on if Kreis will be a regular forward or point man. Williams may or may not play attacking-mid or wing.

My hope is that Cunny and Kreis are up top (with Tarley taking up when Kreis is hurt) and Andy is the a-mid. But thats my opinion.
