come to the meeting at the tailgate. There'll be a thing or two. Maybe you could suggest some more for me for the next time. See you tomorrow.

ok, just wondering, we had all this talking and ideas, and nothing was set to stone to do at the game, and i could just image us all going and doing the same as last game and then we come back to this convo again ....

well although there wasn't a whole lot of chanting from the north stand (i did hear some near the end) they seemed more into it today ... i saw a lot of clapping in time with our chants ... and people watching to try and see what the words were.

and the yellow cards seemed to go down well with the people in the middle of the east stand .... its a slow process but we seem to have made progress on the nyrb match

I agree. A marked improvement in stadium atmosphere from the home opener.

I just think the drums need to keep going throughout the whole game. Even if there are no chants going on, at least keep a simple beat going. It helps keep things going IMO.

Are streamers now a no-no? After the second goal, my buddies and I released our second volley of streamers (amazingly we actually used all eight I brought and my friend thought we had too many) and shortly thereafter an event staff personnel came down asking who was throwing streamers from this section. Noone turned me in (thankfully), but what's the deal?

We didn't hit any player and they barely make it to the back of the net as it is. I've thrown streamers at both games this year and the last ten last year. Every game, security looks in my bag and sees them and doesn't confiscate them.

So my question is, was this just a rogue event staff, or am I in danger of being thrown out if I continue to throw streamers?

I'm not entirely sure what the official line is, but I know that one of the stadium guys made sure that we weren't going to toss streamers on the field.
